Christmas Gift Ideas

Hey everyone! Can you guys believe that we have less than two weeks until Christmas is here??! It’s crazy. I feel like this is crunch time for gift shopping. The stress is setting in! I’m almost done with my Christmas shopping list, so I thought I’d share a few gift ideas with you guys in case you need them!

Kid Gifts

Most of the kids I have to shop for are in the under 10 years old group, so here are some favorites for that group. (You can click on any link that is pink for easy shopping)

Ant Farm -Cooper has been asking for one for a while, so I finally gave in! I figure it’s science related, and educational, so what the heck?

World Alive Aqua Dragons – this is something I bought for Cooper earlier this year, and he really likes it. These are Sea Monkeys to those of us that were kids 20 years ago or so. It’s easy, educational, and if you’re kids are begging for a pet, these guys are easier to take care of than anything else!

Crayola Inspiration Art Case – I love to gift art sets. Kids can never have too much of this stuff.

I also think experience based gifts are some of the very best gifts for kids! My Mom gave us tickets to Universal Studios this year, and our trip there was one of our favorite memories from 2019.

Some other great places to gift admission to are:

  • Zoos(especially the San Diego Safari Park if you are in Southern California)
  • Aquariums- especially for the baby/toddler set. Cooper loved going to the aquarium when he was that age.
  • Theme parks like Knott’s Berry Farm, Legoland, Disneyland, etc.
  • A stay at Great Wolf Lodge would be a wonderful gift to give a family with kids! They have 19 locations across the U.S., so there might be one near you. For those of you who’ve never been, it’s a hotel with an indoor water-park attached to it. So fun!
  • Movie tickets make a great family gift too! You can find Fandango gift cards on the gift card trees at Target, Wal-Mart, CVS, etc. That way they can go to the movie theater of their choice.

Moms/Sisters/Friends/

Gift ideas for the women in your life:

Hempz Body Lotion – I can not sing the praises of these products enough! There are seriously no other lotions on the market that come close to the Hempz products. They are so good for your skin! Once you try these lotions, you’ll never go back. There are many different scents to choose from too. Give your friends the gift of healthy skin!

Backpack Purses are super in style right now. They’re cute, functional, and you can find tons of cute styles on Amazon right now.

Essential Oil Diffusers also make great gifts! These are inexpensive and there are supposed to be many health benefits to using them. You could throw in some Lavender Essential Oil too and give them the gift of good sleep!

Spa passes are also a great gift idea for the women in your life- one of my favorite is Glen Ivy if you are in Southern California. Or even a gift certificate to a local nail salon is a great gift- most women don’t treat themselves to regular mani-pedi’s. So give them a gift card so they can!

Candles are also one of my favorite things to gift- I especially like the ones from Bath and Body Works.

Husbands/Fathers/Brothers

Why are all the men always the hardest to shop for??? Here are the few ideas I have:

Insulated Cooler Backpacks -these are great for the outdoorsy type guys in your life. Of course, if you have $300 burning a hole in your pocket this YETI version is available too.

The North Face Men’s Jacket– this jacket is a great gift idea. It’s warm without being bulky and North Face products are made to last for years.

Cuisinart Coffeemaker and Single-Serve Brewer– I bought this for my husband last year and he loves this thing. We use it EVERY day. Sometimes you want a pot of coffee, sometimes you just want to brew yourself a K-cup- with this coffeemaker you have the option to do either one. This is a great gift along with a Keurig K-Cup Variety Pack, and a K-Cup Carousel.

Concert Tickets- a quick trip to the Ticketmaster website will help you find all kinds of concerts in your area.  Motley Crue, KISS, Kenny Chesney, The Eagles, Aerosmith, and even Snoop Dog all have multiple tour dates next year.

Sporting Events: whether the guys in your life are into baseball, basketball, football, soccer, or hockey, chances are there’s something nearby that you can buy tickets for. Even if tickets haven’t gone on sale to the public yet, season ticket holders will have tickets available to purchase on websites like Stubhub. In fact, I reliably buy baseball tickets on Stubhub every December.

I hope this little list of gift ideas helps! I know I’ll be so relieved once I’ve checked all the gifts I need off of my list. Happy shopping!
