Happy Thanksgiving Eve everyone! I love Thanksgiving and all that goes along with it: the menu planning, the shopping, the food prep, the cooking, the EATING, and the leftovers! It’s just such an easy, relaxed holiday, and Thanksgiving food is such a favorite of mine. I look forward to it every year!

Our house is filled with Harvest/Autumn decor and I LOVE these decorations! After all the spooky Halloween stuff is packed away, I love putting out my Thanksgiving decor. It makes the house feel warm and cozy. I thought I’d share a peek into what our house looks like this time of year:

Lots of decorations all over, even in our guest bathroom!
As I was walking around taking pictures, there was a big, fluffy shadow following me around 😉

Speaking of Lily, she did some “artwork” at Doggy Daycare last week:

They also did a photoshoot:

Today is my cleaning and food prep day. I like to make all of the sides today so tomorrow I’ll have less to do. The sides I’ll be making today are stuffing, mashed potatoes, and green bean casserole. I’ll also make a tray of rice crispy treats today, and hard boil a bunch of eggs to use for a Deviled Eggs appetizer tomorrow.
If I can get it all done today, then tomorrow I only have to worry about putting together my turkey and my appetizers, then setting out frozen dinner rolls to proof. Then I can do another round of cleaning, and hopefully have time to get dressed and do my hair and makeup before guests arrive!
Side note: One of my favorite traditions is to watch all of the Friends Thanksgiving episodes while I’m cooking and doing all of my food prep. They are all great episodes and it helps to make the work fly by! Best show EVER. I highly recommend doing this even if you’re not hosting 😉

Hope you enjoyed a look at our Thanksgiving decor, and I hope you guys all have a wonderful Thanksgiving Day filled with great food, great people, and lots of gravy!
