Let’s Look: Our Christmas Decorations!

Hi everyone! Hope your week is going great so far! I’m joining Erika and Shay for their monthly “Let’s Look” link-up. Today I’ll be sharing a peek of our Christmas decorations! I know I love seeing how other people decorate their homes, so if you’re nosy like me you’ll hopefully enjoy this post πŸ™‚ So here we go:

I’ll start with our living room since that’s where our tree is and the majority of our decorations are:

In our last two homes we had a family room and a formal living room. Although the formal living rooms were a complete waste of space, they came in handy for Christmas decorating. Now we have just the one living room, so I really crammed it full of Christmas decor! I don’t really believe in subtlety when it comes to holiday decorations anyway πŸ˜‰

I love sitting on my sofa every morning, drinking coffee, and enjoying this view:

In the entryway, I have my console table all decked out in Christmas-ness:

I even decorated the guest bathroom:

It just wouldn’t be Christmas without my Elvis stocking hung in the hallway- theses are not for use, just strictly wall decor! I grew up in a house where Elvis was a big deal, so I must pay homage:

I have a few pieces of Christmas decor up in the kitchen. My Santa cookie jar, Snoopy salt and pepper shakers, and a wine bottle with a Christmas Tree “dress”.

Some of the canvases Cooper and I have made together are in the mudroom:

This canvas is up in our living room because it’s my favorite:

Here’s our front door:

I love the color of our front door all the time, but I especially love it for Christmas!

Here is our house all lit up at night:

You might have noticed from the photos that I have an addiction to buying Christmas frames, and most of those are from Kohl’s. I always seem to have Kohl’s buck to spend around Christmas time, and you can never have too many frames, right?

I think that completes the tour! We have so many bins of Christmas decorations, and it’s a lot of work to put it all out, so I like to have it done right after Thanksgiving. Otherwise I don’t feel like there’s enough time to enjoy it.

All the items you see have been collected over the last 14 years that Cody and I have been together(It’s crazy to think that this will be our 15th Christmas together!). Most of these items are from stores like Target, Kohl’s, Kirkland, and Homegoods. Some items are from Etsy, and some are from little shops we’ve travelled to on trips. All of my Christmas decorations are really important and meaningful to me. They were what I was worried about the most as our stuff was being moved from California to Oklahoma. Thankfully, all of it made it through the move without a scratch.

Thanks for coming along on a little Christmas decor tour of our home!
