Friday Favorites #11

Happy Friday everyone! This is my first Friday Favorites post of the new year. Hope all of you are having a great 2019 so far. We are finishing up our last week of Cooper’s Winter Break so time is flying by for us. Once again I’m linking up with Erika this week for Friday Favorites. Anyhow- here are some highlights from our week:df57d-Friday2BFavorites

One

My new planner arrived last weekend and I love it. I get an Erin Condren planner every year(I think this is my 5th one) and it holds my life in it. I’ve always been a list maker so a day planner is just something I need to have. I’ll remember things so much better if I’ve actually written it down- it’s just the way my brain works. I love having it personalized and I love being able to create the cover with some of my favorite pictures. It makes me happy and is definitely a favorite this week!

Two

We took advantage of the beautiful weather we had this week, and we drove to San Clemente for a day of fishing off the pier. It was a great day to be outside in the sunshine, breathing the fresh ocean air. We even saw a whale right near the pier!! I wish I would have had my camera ready for that-but it caught me by surprise! We always see the coolest stuff on this pier. Cooper was very excited to catch a few fish- which we of course threw back in the water. It was a great day.

Three

On Wednesday I got together with my two oldest friends for a spa day at Glen Ivy. I’ve known these girls since we were really little- we all grew up on the same street together. It’s an amazing thing to have friendships that have lasted this long- I feel very lucky! We don’t get together often enough- but when we do, we have fun! If you haven’t been to Glen Ivy you should go! It’s one of my favorite places. We spent the day soaking in the mineral hot-springs, coating ourselves with mud, sitting in hot tubs, and enjoying a long lunch. It was a relaxing, wonderful day. These two ladies are Moms and elementary school teachers- so they definitely needed the relaxation before school is back in!

Four

On Thursday we went to Legoland!!! My Mom gave us passes last year for Christmas and we wanted to sneak in another trip before they expired. It was the perfect day to go! The park was pretty empty so all of the lines were super short. We went on almost every ride and Cooper spent about a 2 hours running around and playing in the Castle Hill playground area. We had a great time! Legoland is definitely a favorite.

It’s been a busy but fun week! I managed to fit in work, two doctor’s appointments, and interviews for the salon this week too. I’m definitely feeling tired today! Looking forward to this weekend and celebrating my nephew’s 9th birthday. Hope everyone has a great weekend!! Thanks for stopping by.
