Happy Friday everyone! We are very excited about Halloween weekend around here! Tonight we’ll be carving Jack-o-lanterns, eating Spook-ghetti and watching Halloween movies. I am so happy to have Friday here. Today I’m linking up with Erika for her Friday Favorites link-up. So here goes my favorites from this week:
Last night we put together our Haunted Cookie House! This has been a tradition of ours for five years now and I always look forward to it.
We buy our Haunted Cookie House from Trader Joe’s. Holiday traditions are always a favorite for me.
My next favorite from this week is the What’s Up Wednesday link-up. I love checking out the other blogs in the link-up. I discover so many great recipes, books, and ideas from the other women.
You can find my post here: What’s Up Wednesday: October 2021 and if you click Shay or Schaeffer’s name in my post, you’ll see all the other blogs linked at the bottom of their pages.
My third favorite this week: Boo Buckets! We got our first Boo Bucket in 2014 from my sweet friend Deanna and we have participated in the tradition every year since. I look forward to making treats for the buckets, and we have fun picking out little Halloween trinkets to include. Cooper’s favorite part is ringing the doorbell and then running away!
Our friends Boo’ed us this year and they included these cute mummy treats! We had fun watching the doorbell video of them running away!
This year I made Monster Eyeballs for the first time- they turned out really cute and were a great addition to the treats in the Boo Buckets. I got the idea from this blog here: Monster Eyeball Treats
I think they turned out great! They were delicious too.
I also made my favorite cookies using this recipe here:
And of course, I had to include this popcorn mix:
I just use Reeses Pieces instead of M&M’s.
This meme is a favorite this week:
It was seriously so dang windy this week! Oklahoma weather has been a force to reckon with lately.
I’m finishing up this post with two of my favorite things: Halloween and Snoopy!
Thanks for reading along today! Hope you have a fun weekend, and HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!
