We were in Maui earlier in the month and this little item was one I was so glad I had ordered:
It’s hard to see in the picture, but it’s a vinyl waterproof case you can slip your phone in and wear around your neck. They are super inexpensive and it worked like a charm! My phone is actually waterproof, but once it’s wet you have to wait hours for it to be completely dry in order to plug in your charger. Plus I wanted to take pictures while we were snorkeling, so having my phone right there with me in the ocean was perfect. I also liked not having to worry about my valuables sitting on the beach in my bag while we were in the water. I had my phone, credit card, cash and my room key all in this little pouch! If you are going to the beach, lake, river, or water-park this summer you have to get this. It’ll definitely be a favorite for you too.

Speaking of Maui- another favorite this week would have to be Summer vacations!!! Spending time together as a family, going to a new places, having adventures in the sun, and making lasting memories is what Summer was made for. We had such a blast on our trip and I’m working on finding the time to put together a post about it. I’ve probably looked through our pictures at least once a day since we’ve been back. We are looking forward to a mini-vacation with friends before Summer break is over, so I have that to look forward to! In the meantime here are some of my favorite pics from our trip:

I have curly, curly, hair and I typically can’t stand it, which is why I constantly flat iron the life out of it. But in the summer I do like to give my blow-dryer and my hair a break occasionally and wear it curly. Usually I have to put a ton of mousse in it or my hair becomes a huge, bushy mess #80srockstarhair But then all the mousse makes it look crunchy and I hate that too! After trying a million products I think I found something that tames my hair without making it look crunchy- and it’s cheap! #winwin

We got to spend time with our friends at a really fun pool party this week! Cooper had the best time swimming and playing- and I had fun hanging with the other Moms. There was even a Slip and Slide there so Cooper got to try that out for the first time! He’s been asking me if we can get one everyday since the party. We had so much fun! So Cal weather and hanging out in the pool with friends is always a favorite.

My husband took my to see Kenny Chesney last week and it was an absolute blast! He is every bit as great in concert as you’d expect him to be. As an added bonus Old Dominion opened up for him! They put on such a great show- I was so happy when I found out they were touring with Kenny Chesney! There’s just something so perfect about a concert on a beautiful Summer night. Definitely my favorite!
