Friday Favorites #14

Happy Friday guys!! This week has flown by! I’m linking up with Erika today for this week’s edition of Friday Favorites. Here we go!

One

We went to Knott’s Berry Farm last weekend for the Boysenberry Festival!! We had a fun day and we ate a ton. You can read all about it in my blog post here:

Knott’s Berry Farm is always a favorite!

Two

This week I had to drive out to San Clemente for my tax appointment.  I decided that we should make a day of it, so we packed up our fishing equipment and spent a few hours fishing off the pier after our appointment. It was a chilly day, but we enjoyed being outside in the fresh air. We chatted with lots of nice people, ate some goodies from the snack shop, and enjoyed the beautiful scenery. The fishing wasn’t so great, but that’s okay. We throw them back anyway!

San Clemente is a favorite! We lived for years before Cooper was born, and for 2 years after so it will always seem like home to me.

Three

We had a great time with little T-rex building kit this week. Cooper loves dinosaurs and science, so this was perfect for him! If you have a kiddo who is into dinosaurs I highly recommend this. At only $11.97 it’s a great buy! This was Cooper’s favorite this week!

We went to Legoland yesterday and had such a great time! It was only our third trip there, so we discovered lots of new things. We rode a bunch of rides and had fun exploring the park. Cooper also spent 45 minutes playing on the humongous jungle gym area they call “The Hideaways”. He had a blast running, climbing, crawling and sliding. While I watched him play I enjoyed some Apple Fries and they were delicious! If I weren’t such a pig I’d have remembered to snap a picture of them! So here’s the picture from the Legoland website 😉

These things are sooo good!

A fun day at Legoland with my sweet kid is a favorite!

Five

Spring Break!! Obviously that’s the main favorite from this week. I love having so much time with Cooper and not worrying about drop offs, pick-ups, homework, and studying. It has been a nice break! Crazy to think that after he returns to school, there are only 8 weeks left until summer break! Time sure is flying by. Getting to take this week and slow down a bit has been so nice.

Well I think that wraps up my list of favorites for this week! We’re going to spend the weekend enjoying these last few days of Spring Break fun!! Hope you all have a great weekend.
